1. Wash Your Hands Frequently
This is something we are observing everywhere these days. Many TV commercials of soaps or hand washes are consistently spreading awareness among people and asking us to wash hands at least for 20 seconds.

Wash your hands several times a day, especially after touching anything, including your phone and laptop. A proper handwashing procedure should be followed; use any type of soap, work into a lather, rub your wrists, between your fingers and under your fingernails.
2. Do-Follow Social Distancing
Maintaining social distancing should be our priority to protect our self from the spread. Do not wander around until it is highly necessary. Maintain a distance of 6 feet at least while talking to someone as you’re the most vulnerable for the contamination while talking to a person so close.
Avoid religious gatherings, parties, marriages, and other social gatherings where more than required people are together. Your life is in your hands so do not play with it for a temporary joy.
3. Sanitize Your Hands with Alcohol based Sanitizer
Keeping an alcohol-based sanitizer nearby is necessary. If washing hands frequently is not possible due to any reason like you are traveling somewhere or in any other case, using a sanitizer is a wise take.
Keep a bottle of sanitizer in your bag, at home, at the workplace, or in your car that contains alcohol at least 60%. Use the sanitizer after touching any public object and opening the door of any commonplace like office, hospital, store, or washroom.
4. While Sneezing or Coughing Cover Your Mouth and Nose
Sneezing, coughing, and spitting openly are the most common reasons for the spreading of this illness. Therefore, while you sneeze or cough, make sure you cover up your mouth and nose with a tissue or cloth.
Wash your hands carefully after sneeze or cough and also dump the used tissue in a bin.
5. Avoid Eating at Public Eateries
Even though some places have been allowed to be opened in our country, avoiding eating and drinking at crowded restaurants, bars, coffee shops or eateries is important for now. The virus can be transmitted through food, cups, plates, or by other people present there.
6. Properly Clean & Disinfect Surfaces
To prevent the spreading of Coronavirus, sterilizing surfaces like door handles, furniture, toys, chair, and tables is crucial. Also, disinfect your phone, laptop, your workplace, kitchen shelf, and anything else which and where you are most of the time.
You should also clean the packets of freshly brought groceries before storing them in the kitchen.
7. Wear Mask in Public Places
Wearing a mask can reduce the risk of Coronavirus. You can buy easily a mask for yourself from the market or make one at home with no hassle. Make a habit of wearing a mask whenever you are out of home, in the market, attending a meeting at the office, visiting a hospital, or anywhere you feel it is necessary.
8. Avoid Touching Your Mouth Nose
A person’s face can become an entry point for the coronavirus. It means the virus can enter into the body through nose, mouth, or eyes. So, avoid rubbing your eyes, nose, or chewing fingernails as much as possible to stay safe.
9. Take Shower After Reaching Home from Outside
Possibly, you could be outside your home for a full day for any reason such as you are working in a hospital, in a bank or you are a shopkeeper. No doubt, you deal with several people during the whole day so, it becomes required for you to take shower as soon as you reach your home.
Also, change your clothes and do not repeat them for the next day. It will be better if you wash them every day.
